A Belarusian Sanatorium Offers Budget Wellness Without the Frills

A 24-year-old woman from Minsk recently swapped city life for a weekend retreat at a Belarusian sanatorium. Daria wanted a break from routine, not medical care, and booked a wellness package at Beloruschka in May. The trip offered a mix of relaxation, activities, and a chance to unwind without breaking the bank.

Daria’s package cost 387 rubles, plus an extra 11-ruble tourist fee. For this, she got a shared double room with a sink, though the shower and toilet were down the hall. The deal included five pre-set wellness treatments, with any extras needing a doctor’s approval.

The sanatorium provided more than just rest. Guests could join dance classes, play ‘Mafia’ or enter a ‘Fool’ card tournament. Wi-Fi was available, and Daria’s package covered gym access, three daily meals, mineral water, and entry to all events—even a disco. The bar served oxygen cocktails and alcohol, with drinks priced between 16 and 22 rubles. Getting there was straightforward. A round-trip taxi from Partizanskaya to the sanatorium set her back 50 rubles. While the food had decent variety, she noticed a lack of meat and fish options. Compared to a weekend at Riviera Spa—where a day alone would cost at least 250 rubles before meals or travel—her trip felt like good value.

Daria’s weekend away gave her a budget-friendly escape with activities, meals, and treatments included. The total cost, even with transport, stayed well below the price of a single day at a more upscale spa. For those seeking a simple break, the sanatorium offered a no-frills but full-featured retreat.
