A Luxury Pyramid-View Hotel Is Coming to Giza in 2027
A new luxury hotel is coming to Egypt, offering guests unmatched views of the Giza Pyramids. Accor and ADTIC have signed an agreement to open Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza in late 2027. The project marks another high-profile addition to Egypt's growing hospitality sector.
The hotel will sit just 500 metres from the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the world's largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. Its prime location near the Giza Pyramids ensures that most rooms will overlook these ancient landmarks. With 303 rooms and suites, the property will also feature a spa, fitness centre, infinity pools, and multiple dining venues.
This will be the eighth hotel in Accor's Sofitel Legend portfolio and the second in Egypt, joining the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract in Aswan. ADTIC, a key player in Egypt's tourism industry, is collaborating with Accor on the development. The partnership aligns with Accor's broader expansion plans, which include opening 10 more Sofitel Legend hotels by 2027 to reach a total of 15 by 2028.
Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza is set to become a flagship destination for travellers visiting Egypt's historic sites. The hotel's design and amenities aim to blend modern luxury with the country's rich cultural heritage. Its opening in late 2027 will add another prestigious property to Accor's global collection.
