Adventurer Sophie Radcliffe Conquers Hyundai Kona 10 Challenge in 71 Hours
Adventurer Sophie Radcliffe has successfully completed the Hyundai Kona 10 Competition, raising funds for Stand up to Cancer. She traversed over 1,000 miles, climbed three major peaks, and faced harsh weather conditions in just under 72 hours.
The Hyundai Kona 10 Competition saw Sophie Radcliffe driving a Hyundai Kona SUV across the UK, tackling volcanic landscapes and three significant peaks: Snowdon, North Berwick Law, and Ben Nevis. The journey covered over 1,000 miles and included elevations up to 12,000 ft. Despite facing snow and 50mph winds, Radcliffe pushed on, completing the competition in an impressive 71 hours and 45 minutes.
Radcliffe expressed her exhaustion but satisfaction upon completing the competition. She said, 'It was tough, but I'm thrilled to have completed it and raised money for such a great cause.'
