Allegiant Air's Dolly Parton-Themed Flight Takes Off for a Smoky Mountain Christmas Adventure
Allegiant Air is set to launch a special themed flight this autumn, celebrating Dolly Parton's iconic music and her famous Tennessee theme park. The one-off experience, named Flight #925: Destination Dollywood, will take passengers from Florida to the heart of the Smoky Mountains for a weekend of festive fun.
The flight departs from Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB) on Friday, November 6, 2026, landing at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee (TYS). The date and flight number pay homage to Dolly Parton's hit song 9 to 5, released in 1980 as part of the film of the same name.
Passengers will enjoy Dollywood-themed entertainment from the moment they board. The experience includes decorated gates, live performances, trivia, and themed food and drinks. Exclusive merchandise will also be available during the journey.
Upon arrival, travellers can head straight to Dollywood, a 160-acre park co-owned by Parton and Herschend Family Entertainment. The visit coincides with the park's Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival, featuring over 6 million twinkling lights, 175 decorated trees, and 300 wreaths. Holiday shows like Christmas in the Smokies and O' Holy Night—a nativity performance by local children—will run alongside a nightly parade with floats, costumed characters, and Santa Claus.
Seasonal treats, Christmas-themed menus, and live entertainment, including gospel choirs and appearances by Dolly Parton's family, will fill the park. Attractions such as The Polar Express 4D Experience and Dolly's Sing-Along Celebration will run alongside nostalgic crafts, holiday markets, and over 20 decorated rides.
Those who book Dollywood admission for November 7 will receive extra perks. These include exclusive early ride access, reserved show seating, special treats, and additional surprises throughout the day.
Dollywood has earned top honours in recent years, including Tripadvisor's No. 1 U.S. theme park title three times in four years. In 2025, it also won three Golden Ticket Awards from Amusement Today, recognising its entertainment, food, and overall guest experience.
The themed flight and festival weekend offer fans a unique way to celebrate Dolly Parton's legacy. With live shows, festive decorations, and exclusive park access, the event combines music, holiday cheer, and Tennessee hospitality. Tickets for Flight #925 and Dollywood's Christmas Festival will be available through Allegiant Air and the park's official website.
