Amsterdam’s Conscious Hotel Reopens with Bold, Eco-Friendly Artistic Flair

Conscious Hotel Museum Square in Amsterdam has reopened after a fresh renovation. The updated design gives the hotel a more artistic feel while keeping sustainability at its core. Four designers worked together to blend eco-friendly choices with bold, creative touches.

The project brought together Karina Schaffer, Wendy Mahieu, Collette & Lotte, and Ted Struve. Their goal was to highlight the ‘sexy side of eco’—proving that green design can still look stylish. Every piece of furniture, finish, and material was chosen with sustainability in mind.

The renovated hotel now combines modern art influences with eco-conscious materials. Guests will see recycled elements and thoughtful design choices throughout the space. The project stays true to the brand’s mission of blending sustainability with striking aesthetics.
