Bains Developments Wins Award for £3M Gerrards Cross Luxury Home
A luxury home in Gerrards Cross has earned Bains Developments a prestigious industry award. The Pinecroft project, completed in early 2021, was recognised with an NHBC Pride in the Job accolade for its high-quality craftsmanship. The £3 million property stands out with its yellow brickwork, stone detailing, and premium clay roof tiles.
Construction on Pinecroft began in 2018 after the demolition of an older house on the site. The project faced a six-month setback due to unexpected foundation problems but was finished three years later. Gurjit Bains, who founded Bains Developments in 2013, oversaw the build, marking his sixth high-end project in the area.
The five-bedroom home spans over 4,000 sq ft, featuring a grand entrance with a bespoke oak staircase. Inside, the layout includes a large dining room, a modern kitchen, and multiple living spaces—such as a drawing room, study, and utility room. Each of the five bedrooms comes with its own en-suite bathroom.
The second floor offers extra luxury with a games room, a guest bedroom, and a custom cinema space. A dedicated wellness area includes both a sauna and a steam room. Since its completion, the house has drawn admiration from visitors and passers-by alike.
The NHBC award highlights the attention to detail in Pinecroft's design and construction. While Bains Developments has delivered several high-end homes in Gerrards Cross since 2013, public records show no further luxury projects by the company in the area since 2018. The Pinecroft development remains one of their most notable achievements to date.
