Groth, from Germany, bought three €25 tickets from British prize draw operator Omaze. He initially hoped to win €10,000 for a family ski trip in the Alps. Instead, he found himself the proud owner of a stunning six-room villa near Lake Starnberg, south of Munich. The property spans an impressive 400 square meters.

The lucky winner plans to transform the villa into a perfect holiday retreat for his family. He envisions enjoying the Alps both in winters and summers. The property also boasts a wellness and fitness area, adding to its appeal.
