Belavia Launches Charter Flights to Jordan’s Aqaba Starting March 2026
Belarusian airline Belavia is set to launch charter flights to Jordan's coastal resort of Aqaba from March 10, 2026. The flights, operating every 11 days, will offer Belarusian travelers the chance to explore Jordan's unique attractions, including the ancient city of Petra and the Wadi Rum desert.
The charter flights will depart from Minsk and take approximately six hours, operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Travelers can look forward to Aqaba's coral reefs and mild climate, with the opportunity to obtain a visa upon arrival at Aqaba airport free of charge.
Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is a must-visit. Carved into the red sandstone cliffs, it offers a glimpse into the Nabatean kingdom's history. For those seeking adventure, the Wadi Rum desert, often dubbed 'Mars on Earth', provides alien-like landscapes and thrilling safari experiences, with the option to spend a night in a traditional Bedouin camp under the stars.
Belavia's charter flight program to Aqaba will run until the end of May 2026, providing Belarusian travelers with a convenient and exciting opportunity to explore Jordan's rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
