Benny Blanco’s Wild Mongol Rally Adventure Across Two Continents

Benny Blanco, an adventurous spirit, has embarked on the Mongol Rally, a journey from London to Ulan-Ude, Mongolia, in a small, ill-equipped car. He initially had reservations but decided to join Ms. Penny, a fearless traveler, starting near Zurich. The rally is not a race but an adventure, with no prizes, allowing participants to choose their own route.

Benny Blanco's blog series, 'Mongol Rally Diaries', chronicles his journey. He views the rally as an odyssey through nature and circumstance, aiming to complete it within the specified time frame, barring any major disruptions. The prize is the memories created from driving through remote areas of the largest continent on earth.

Benny Blanco and Ms. Penny have traveled together before. Ms. Penny completed the Annapurna hiking trek despite initial hesitations from Benny Blanco. This time, they are traversing Eastern Europe and Central Asia together. After reaching Mongolia, Benny Blanco plans to loosely follow the Trans-Siberian railway back to Eastern Europe.

Benny Blanco's Mongol Rally adventure continues, with his journey documented in his blog series. After the rally, he will fly from Stockholm to Ottawa, Canada, for a friend's wedding on September 8. The rally, though challenging, promises unforgettable memories for Benny Blanco and Ms. Penny.
