Brighton's New Wellness Festival to Redefine Wellbeing as a Public Good
The Brighton Wellness Festival (BWF), set to redefine wellness as a public good, will hold its inaugural event from 1st to 8th October 2025. The festival's highlight, The BWF Summit, powered by Summit Racing, will take place on October 4, exploring the future of wellbeing through diverse perspectives.
The Summit, held at Platf9rm in Hove, promises a full-day immersive experience. It will delve into topics like 'Old Medicines for Modern Wounds' and 'Tactile Sound: A Vibroacoustic Bench Set to Revolutionise Therapy'. A panel discussion, 'It's All Connected: How Can We Move Beyond Personal Healing to Collective Care?', will encourage collective care over personal healing.
The day will also feature 'The Evolving Mind', a lecture exploring the latest research in healing, awareness, and neurodiversity. Speakers for this session remain unannounced. The Summit, sponsored by Summit Racing, aims to reclaim the capitalist narrative of wellness, bringing together voices from various backgrounds and modalities.
The Brighton Wellness Festival and its flagship Summit, supported by Festival Foods, aim to position Brighton as the 'Home of Collective, Inclusive Wellness'. Visitors can mark their calendars, participate in the festival, and stay connected via the official website and Instagram @brightonwellnessfestival. The BWF Summit promises to be an insightful and inclusive exploration of wellbeing in 2025.
