Nordhorn Introduces 17 New Photo Spots for Tourists
The city of Nordhorn, located in the Grafschaft Bentheim region of Germany, has expanded its collection of special photo motifs, offering tourists attractive perspectives for capturing unforgettable vacation memories.
The photo spots were identified partly based on the results of a photo competition organised by the LEADER region. These spots aim to highlight the most beautiful corners of the city, with eye-catching signs installed at most locations to indicate an attractive photo motif.
Each sign at the photo spots contains a QR code. Scanning the QR code with a smartphone takes visitors to the website www.our website/photospots, which provides an overview of all 17 photo spots with example images.
The website offers two tour suggestions for photography enthusiasts, one 5.5 km long and one around 18 km long. These tours can be tracked using the navigation app Komoot or any common GPS device.
Those who publish their photos on Instagram are invited to tag the city's channel @visitnordhorn. The city of Nordhorn hopes to receive many creative shots and unforgettable impressions from tourists.
The project of the municipal economic development was initiated from an application of the citizens' forum in the Nordhorner city council on the topic of "city branding". The collection of special photo motifs in Nordhorn can be further expanded in the future.
