Central Hotels Unveils 20 Luxury Suites in Mexico City's Historic Heart
Central Hotels has completed a major renovation of 20 luxury suites across two of its properties in Mexico City's Historic Center. The updated rooms now blend modern comforts with traditional Mexican design. Both hotels sit in the heart of the city, offering guests easy access to key landmarks.
The newly redesigned suites are split evenly between the two hotels. Zócalo Central Hotel features 10 suites, each with views of Plaza de la Independencia, also known as the Zócalo. The remaining 10 suites are at Histórico Central Hotel, where guests can enjoy vistas of the Torre Latinoamericana. Those staying at Histórico Central also benefit from private balconies or terraces.
Inside, the suites combine contemporary style with local craftsmanship. Hand-embroidered Tenango textiles, wooden furniture, and exposed beam ceilings create a warm yet refined atmosphere. Premium amenities include 600-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, Milton Brown bath products, Nespresso machines, in-room check-in, and round-the-clock butler service. Standard rooms at Central Hotels start at around $250 USD (approximately $4,443 MXN) per night. The suites, however, come at a higher rate of $600 USD (about $10,664 MXN) nightly. Beyond the rooms, guests can take advantage of curated experiences like dining at Café Central or Balcón del Zócalo restaurant. Additional perks include a taco tasting room, personalized concierge services, and exclusive holiday events. Zócalo Central Hotel & Rooftop is located at Avenida 5 de Mayo 61, while Histórico Central Hotel stands at Simón Bolívar 28. Both addresses place visitors within walking distance of the city's most historic sites.
The renovation adds 20 high-end suites to Central Hotels' offerings in Mexico City. Guests now have more options for luxury stays with tailored experiences and premium facilities. The updated rooms further establish the brand's presence in the city's bustling Historic Center.
