China's Spring Festival sees record 4,000 pets traveling by train

China Railway Express Co, Ltd has transported more than 4,000 pets across the country during this year's Spring Festival travel rush. The figure marks a sharp rise in pet travel compared to earlier periods before the holiday season began.

The company's pet transport services saw a noticeable surge in demand as families travelled for the Spring Festival. Many passengers chose to bring their pets along, leading to a record number of animals being handled by the railway operator.

Previous travel rushes did not report such high volumes of pet transportation. This year's increase reflects growing trends in pet ownership and the need for reliable travel options during peak holiday periods.

The rise in transported pets highlights changing travel habits among passengers. With over 4,000 animals moved, China Railway Express Co, Ltd has accommodated a growing demand for pet-friendly services during the Spring Festival rush.
