Cómpeta Dazzles in Ferrero Rocher’s Festive Lights Contest

The town of Cómpeta, nestled in the Axarquia region, has been selected to represent Andalusia in the prestigious Ferrero Rocher 'Together We Shine Brighter' competition. This recognition is seen as a well-deserved nod to the region's warmth and hospitality.

The competition, now in its twelfth year, pits 17 Spanish towns against each other to create the most stunning Christmas lights display. Cómpeta, a hill town known for its charm, will showcase its unique character and traditions through its illuminations.

Previous winners have experienced a surge in visitors and have seen their town squares transformed into glittering film sets for Ferrero Rocher's Christmas ads. The contest is not just about lights; it celebrates local culture, community spirit, and the magic of Christmas.

Voting will take place in several rounds, culminating in a grand finale on December 15. The winning town will be bathed in thousands of sparkling lights, chosen entirely by the public. The residents of Cómpeta are rallying behind their town, spreading the message 'Let's make Andalusia glow'.
