Condor Slashes Hamburg Flights, Cancels Routes Amid Rising Costs
Condor has announced significant changes to its operations at Hamburg Airport, including flight cancellations and reductions, as well as adjustments to its summer flight plan for 2025. The German Federal Network Agency, an independent regulatory authority for aviation charges, oversees charges for airport infrastructure, including those at Hamburg Airport. The European Commission also provides additional oversight. While Condor is reducing its summer flight plan by 13% and canceling planned capacity expansions and new routes, Hamburg will forgo planned growth and additional connections due to these adjustments.
Condor's decision to cancel and reduce flights, as well as adjust prices, comes in response to increased costs at Hamburg Airport. Despite these changes, Condor remains a significant presence at the airport.
