Curtains Up for the IPM Flower Stage!

IPM Essen 2026 will introduce a new daily stage programme for florists called the IPM Flower Stage. Running from January 27 to 30 at Messe Essen, the event replaces the old 'FDF World' format with a wider range of activities. Visitors can expect live demonstrations, trend discussions, and networking opportunities.

The IPM Flower Stage takes place in Hall 5, known as the 'Creative Hall'. It will host international floral designers, though the exact names remain unconfirmed as of December 22, 2025. Shows include Spirit of Aloha from Hawaii, Floristry International - Pure Perfection Passion, She Blooms, and FLOOS - The Crafter’s Secret.

Beyond performances, the stage offers idea-driven sessions like *Flower up your ideas - Design, Styles and Trends 2026*. The Professional Association of German Florists (FDF) organises these events, blending floristry, retail trends, and sustainability. A highlight is the IPM Trade Fair Cup 2026 award ceremony. Networking plays a key role, with a dedicated Florist Get-together on Wednesday evening. The hall also features the IPM Discovery Center, showcasing retail concepts and eco-friendly materials. Doors open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Tuesday to Thursday) and until 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

The IPM Flower Stage expands on past formats by combining live shows, trend analysis, and industry networking. All exhibitors and institutions can participate, making it a central hub for florists at IPM Essen 2026. The event aims to connect professionals while highlighting global floral design and sustainability.
