Dandara’s renewed support boosts Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal for struggling families

Dandara has renewed its backing for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal this year. The company’s ongoing support will help provide essential aid to struggling families and individuals across the Isle of Man.

Captain Rachael Nieuwoudt, who leads The Salvation Army on the island, thanked the firm for its continued generosity.

The appeal focuses on assisting those facing financial hardship during winter. Each Christmas, the charity distributes hundreds of food and gift parcels to people in need.

Dandara’s donation will fund vouchers for food, toys, and gifts, as well as practical items like wrapping kits. Joanna Orton, marketing director at Dandara, highlighted the importance of the appeal in supporting families hit by rising living costs.

The Salvation Army’s local team works year-round to identify those most in need. Their efforts ensure that vulnerable households receive vital support during the festive season.

This year’s contribution builds on Dandara’s previous involvement with the appeal. The company has maintained its partnership despite no public record of other developers offering similar backing in 2025.

The renewed funding will allow the Salvation Army to expand its reach this Christmas. Food parcels, gifts, and essential supplies will go to more families struggling with financial pressures.

Captain Nieuwoudt’s team will continue coordinating deliveries to ensure help reaches those who need it most.
