Davao del Sur Museum launches National Arts Month with vibrant cultural showcase
The Davao del Sur Museum kicked off its National Arts Month 2026 celebration on February 16, themed Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting. The main event showcased the province's commitment to preserving heritage and fostering creativity. Governor Yvonne R. Cagas reaffirmed her administration's support for the arts during the opening ceremony.
The newly established museum now serves as a permanent venue for local history and art. Inside, visitors can explore traditional Bagobo-Tagabawa artifacts, intricate bamboo crafts, and paintings by regional artists.
