Domaine 1196: New Premium Winery Set to Transform Southern Styria in 2025

A new premium winery, Domaine 1196, is set to open in 2025 in Southern Styria. Founded by local entrepreneur Siegfried Wolf, it promises to be a hub for wine culture and tourism, led by renowned winemakers Reinhard Muster and Albert Einstein.

Domaine 1196 will be home to some of the region's oldest vines, with 42 hectares of its own vineyards and oversight of another 100 hectares in top-tier sites. The winery aims to craft authentic, terroir-driven wines with international appeal.

The initial wine package, valued at €220, includes a €100 voucher and €120 in wines. It features 'Illyicus' Ried Hoch Sernau Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris, Pannonica Merlot, and Blaufränkisch. The winery is led by Sauvignon Blanc world champion Reinhard Muster and red wine legend Albert Einstein, ensuring high-quality wines.

Domaine 1196, opening in 2025, promises to be a significant addition to Southern Styria's wine domain. With its focus on terroir-driven wines, renowned winemakers, and a commitment to wine culture and tourism, it is set to attract both local and international wine enthusiasts.
