EU-Funded 'Digital Hallertau Experience' Aims to Boost Tourism with Audio Tours
A new project, 'The Digital Hallertau Experience', has been approved with support from the EU LEADER funding program and regional authorities. Led by Carolin Meinhold of Hopfenland Hallertau Tourism e.V., the project aims to enhance and expand the Hallertau experience for both visitors and locals through digital audio tours.
The project, backed by €30,432 from LEADER, will create four digital audio tours accessible via smartphone. These tours will highlight the region's culture, tradition, history, and hop cultivation. They include digital city tours for Wolnzach and Mainburg, and digital bike tours across the region.
The local action groups LAG Landkreis Kelheim e.V., LAG Landkreis Landshut e.V., LAG Mittlere Isarregion e.V., and LAG Landkreis Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm e.V. have joined forces to support this initiative. Their collaboration aims to attract new target groups and enrich the Hallertau experience.
The 'Digital Hallertau Experience' project, with its innovative audio tours, is set to boost tourism and engagement in the region. By showcasing its unique culture and history, the project aims to attract new visitors and deepen locals' appreciation for their heritage.
