Flamingo Museum Celebrates 10 Years with Bold New Contemporary Artworks
The Flamingo Contemporary Art Museum in Phú Thọ has marked its 10th anniversary with eight new large-scale artworks. Nestled in the pine forests beside Đại Lải Lake, the museum now displays around 130 pieces from 17 countries. Entry remains free, with guided tours available for visitors of all ages, including school groups. The museum’s origins trace back to the Art in the Forest project, which sought to balance economic growth, cultural preservation, and creative expression. This initiative laid the groundwork for what has become a leading regional destination for contemporary art. The Flamingo Contemporary Art Museum now holds 130 artworks, reinforcing its status as a cultural hub. Its free admission and educational programmes ensure broad public access. The latest additions mark a decade of growth, solidifying its role in Vietnam’s contemporary art landscape.
