Gemüse Corner brings Berlin-style kebabs to Prague’s Karlín this November

A new branch of Gemüse Corner, the popular Prague kebab spot, will open in Karlín by the end of November. The location replaces the former Kro restaurant, which closed earlier this year. Known for its fresh ingredients and Berlin-inspired flavours, the brand has steadily grown since its 2019 launch in Podolí. The idea for the Karlín branch began about a year ago when Ondřej Hollas, the new owner, noticed the area’s busy lunch scene while working at Ambiente’s buffet. He soon secured the empty Kro space after negotiating a deal with Gemüse Corner’s founders, Filip Urban and Antonín Walter. The Karlín location will join Gemüse Corner’s growing list of Prague outlets when it opens in late November. The brand’s emphasis on fresh, homemade ingredients and Berlin-style kebabs has drawn a loyal following. With this expansion, customers in Karlín will soon have another option for quick, high-quality meals.
