Georgia's New Youth Card Unlocks 25,000 Discounts Across Europe
A new discount program for young people has launched in Georgia. The 'European Youth Card' offers benefits to those aged 18 to 30, backed by Tbilisi City Hall and the Council of Europe. Participants can access thousands of deals across travel, culture, and entertainment. The initiative is led by Tbilisi City Hall as part of its membership in the European Youth Card Association. Mayor Kakha Kaladze supports the scheme, which aims to provide affordable access to services for young adults.
The card unlocks up to 25,000 discounts across Europe, including special rates at 19 state museums and six theatres in Georgia. Savings range from 5% to 40% on entry fees, performances, and other cultural activities. Over 50 offers are already live in the country, covering more than 600 locations. Activation is simple: users pay a one-time fee of 10 GEL through the Bank of Georgia’s mobile app. Once registered, the card remains valid for a full year. Discounts extend beyond culture to include sports, education, and travel.
The program connects Georgian youth to a wider European network of benefits. With a low activation cost and broad coverage, it provides tangible savings on everyday activities. The card’s launch marks Tbilisi’s latest effort to support young residents through international partnerships.
