Amman, Tallinn or Kalamata - New flight destinations from Hamburg - Hamburg Airport Adds 15 New Direct Routes for Summer 2024 Travel Boom
Hamburg Airport is expanding its route network for summer 2024 with 15 new direct destinations. Several airlines have announced fresh connections, offering travellers more options across Europe, North Africa, and beyond. The additions include both seasonal holiday routes and year-round city links.
The first new flights will take off in late March. Royal Jordanian will begin direct services to Amman on March 29. Around the same time, Air Baltic will launch routes to Tallinn, while Wizz Air introduces a connection to Podgorica. Corendon Airlines will also resume its popular Hurghada route by the end of the month.
In May, more destinations will open up. EasyJet will start its first Hamburg route to Marrakech, and Condor will bring back Kalamata as a direct summer destination. Ajet will add Bodrum to its network, catering to holidaymakers. Meanwhile, TAP Air Portugal plans to increase its existing services to Lisbon.
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will join the expansion in late April with twice-weekly flights to Oslo. The growth follows a busy summer 2024, where Eurowings, Ryanair, and Condor led earlier expansions. Eurowings added five new routes to Greece and Spain, Ryanair introduced four destinations including Thessaloniki and Porto, and Condor expanded with three long-haul options to the USA and Caribbean.
The new routes will give Hamburg travellers direct access to cities like Tallinn, Amman, and Podgorica, as well as holiday hotspots such as Marrakech, Kalamata, and Bodrum. With 15 additions in total, the airport's summer schedule now covers a wider range of European, North African, and intercontinental destinations.
