HeyMax Launches in Hong Kong, Partners with Cathay Pacific for Miles Redemption

Loyalty and travel rewards platform HeyMax has launched in Hong Kong, partnering with Cathay Pacific. The launch follows a year of significant growth for HeyMax, which reported fivefold year-on-year revenue growth and an annualised revenue run rate of US$6 million as of May.

HeyMax, led by CEO Joe Lu, aims to build Asia's leading open loyalty ecosystem. The platform allows users to earn miles, dubbed Max Miles, when purchasing digital vouchers from over 300 local merchants. These miles can be converted into Asia Miles and redeemed for flights on Cathay Pacific and partner airlines. Additionally, HeyMax's FlyAnywhere feature enables users to redeem Max Miles for any flight on any airline worldwide, as well as for hotel stays and rewards from over 30 loyalty programs.

The Hong Kong launch follows HeyMax's acquisition of Hong Kong fintech firm krip. The company plans to quadruple its team and strengthen regional partnerships to reach one million users and issue over two billion Max Miles by the end of 2026.

HeyMax's partnership with Cathay Pacific allows users to earn and redeem miles seamlessly. With ambitious growth plans, HeyMax is set to expand its user base and loyalty offerings, further solidifying its position in the Asian market.
