Panorama Landscape Hotel Enhances Guest Experience with Genelec Loudspeaker Solutions
Kuopio, Finland — The Panorama Landscape Hotel, nestled atop Mountain Tahko ski resort, has recently upgraded its audio system with Genelec loudspeaker solutions. The hotel, which boasts a design influenced by Finnish architecture and inspired by Japanese Onsen spas, offers a unique blend of oriental modernity and flavors from the Finnish forest.
The installation, carried out by Viking Pro, features a weather-proof loudspeaker solution for the outdoor pool and spa, ensuring clear and immersive sound for guests. Inside, the hotel's suites, restaurant, indoor spa areas, meeting room, lobby, and toilets have all been equipped with Genelec speakers.
Six 4430 Smart IP loudspeakers in RAW aluminum finish and two 7050 studio subwoofers were installed in the restaurant, while two more 4430 models in black were installed in the meeting room. The lobby, reception, and lobby area benefit from three black 4430 Genelec loudspeakers providing background music. The toilets and changing rooms are equipped with two ultra-compact RAW 4410 Genelec loudspeakers.
The Genelec Smart IP Manager system allows analysis and corrective equalization of problematic room acoustics, ensuring consistent audio quality throughout the hotel. Staff can access different zones using the tablet and change volume levels or content if needed. Viking Pro also used Smart IP's public API to design a custom tablet for simple system control. All the loudspeakers, including the Genelec models, are connected to an LD Systems Dante audio interface acting as a network hub for the entire system.

The hotel's outdoor Forest Spa features wood-fired saunas and five pools for relaxation. Guests can enjoy a unique culinary experience at the Havu Kitchen and Bar, headed up by Kim Mustonen.
