Hotel Shilla Debuts in China with Xi’an’s First Lifestyle Resort
Hotel Shilla is expanding into China with its first property under the Shilla name. The new Shilla Monogram Xi’an will open on 2 February, marking the brand’s debut in the country. The hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers in one of China’s key cities.
The 264-room hotel is situated near Gaoxin, Xi’an’s high-tech development zone. This area hosts numerous multinational electronics and IT firms, making it a hub for corporate visitors. Inside, guests will find three restaurants, including Korean and Chinese dining options, each seating up to 80 people. Private rooms will also be available for business groups and tourists.
The hotel’s facilities include a lounge, fitness centre, sauna, and an indoor pool. Designed as a lifestyle resort, it blends work-friendly amenities with leisure spaces. Beyond Xi’an, Hotel Shilla has plans for further expansion, with new properties set to open in Yancheng, China, and Hanoi, Vietnam. Shilla Monogram Xi’an follows the brand’s strategy of combining modern comforts with local appeal. Its location and services position it as a key destination for travellers visiting the region.
The opening of Shilla Monogram Xi’an introduces Hotel Shilla’s lifestyle concept to the Chinese market. With its mix of business and leisure facilities, the property targets a wide range of guests. The brand’s future expansions in Yancheng and Hanoi suggest a broader push into Asia’s growing hospitality sector.
