IndiGo Passengers in Abu Dhabi Can Now Use City Check-in Service

Starting from August 11, 2025, IndiGo passengers flying from Abu Dhabi can make use of the City Check-in service. This innovative service aims to reduce congestion at the airport and provide travellers with a more relaxed pre-flight experience.

IndiGo passengers can drop off their bags between 24 and 4 hours prior to flight departure at Morafiq's facilities. The service is currently available at four locations in Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal (open 24/7), Yas Mall (10 AM – 10 PM), and Mussafah (10 AM – 10 PM). The Cruise Terminal offers round-the-clock service, while the other locations operate during specific hours.

Passengers can check in their baggage and collect boarding passes at these city terminals. IndiGo flyers will be offered complimentary check-in services on the inaugural day, i.e., August 11.

From September 1, IndiGo passengers will also be able to use the City Check-in service at an additional location in Al Ain. Other airlines already served at the facilities include Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, EgyptAir, and Wizz Air.
