Ita Airways joins Miles & More to expand loyalty rewards for travellers
Ita Airways is set to adopt Miles & More as its official frequent flyer programme from April 1. The move will connect millions of travellers to a wider network of rewards and benefits. Passengers will soon earn and redeem miles across a much larger range of flights and partners.
Starting April 1, Miles & More will replace Ita Airways' existing loyalty scheme. Current members of the airline's programme can transfer their status directly to Miles & More. This ensures a smooth transition for frequent flyers already holding elite tiers.
The partnership opens up new opportunities for Ita Airways passengers. They will access a network of 35 airline partners and over 135 additional affiliates through Miles & More. Meanwhile, the programme's 39 million existing members will now earn and spend miles on Ita Airways routes. Full integration will take place in stages. Registration for the new system begins on April 1, 2026, with further features rolling out from December 4, 2026. The airline has not yet released details on the total number of destinations covered under the expanded programme.
The switch to Miles & More will link Ita Airways' customers to one of the largest loyalty networks in Europe. Passengers can start transferring their status and earning miles from next month. Further enhancements to the programme will arrive by the end of 2026.
