Jazz performances in Berchidda and the northeastern region of Sardinia
The 28th Ypsigrock Festival is currently underway, attracting indie culture enthusiasts to Piazza Castello in Castelbuono, Sicily [1][3]. This year's lineup includes a diverse range of artists such as Lucio Corsi, Lambrini Girls, CocoRosie, Porridge Radio, The Voidz, and WU LYF [5].
Simultaneously, the 38th edition of the Time in Jazz festival is taking place in the north-east of Gallura, Sardinia [2]. While specific details about the 2025 event are not yet available, we know that it includes a musical maritime crossing from Livorno to Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, on Saturday 9th [4]. The festival is also known to feature a variety of artists, with Stefano Bollani in trio, Enrico Rava, Trentemøller, Les Amazones d'Afrique, Simona Molinari, Paola Turci, Danilo Rea, and Nick The Nightfly among the performers [6].
During the Ypsigrock Festival, the Time to Children project focuses on the musical education of children, while "Time to Read" offers meetings with books and their authors in Berchidda from August 11th to 14th [7]. "An Hour More" provides guided tours, tastings, and information points during the Time in Jazz festival [8].
As the festivals continue, both the Ypsigrock Festival and the Time in Jazz festival are set to bring a vibrant mix of music, culture, and education to Italy until August 16th for Ypsigrock and throughout October for Time in Jazz, with additional cultural and entertainment projects in Milan [9].
