Journalist Praises Kama River Cruise Aboard 'N. V. Gogol' Ship

A journalist recently returned from a six-day cruise on the Kama River, aboard the 'N. V. Gogol' ship, operated by TransRussia Lines. She found the trip well-planned, with a mix of city visits and onboard entertainment.

The ship offered a packed entertainment program, including dance classes, intellectual games, and live shows. Despite some negative reviews about cramped cabins and loud music, the journalist found her cabin comfortable, with an air conditioner set to a pleasant 23 degrees and beds suitable for most people. The ship's prices for food and services were reasonable, with a cappuccino costing 200 rubles and a sauna session 900 rubles per hour.

Off the ship, the journalist and her husband had adventures in Kazan, visiting the Temple of All Religions, and in Elabuga and Chaikovsky, where they climbed hills. Bus tours in these cities cost from 1,500 rubles per person. River cruises on the Kama are popular among Perm residents, attracting pensioners celebrating special occasions, families, and young people alike.

The journalist booked a two-person ticket on the 'N. V. Gogol' ship to Kazan for 42,400 rubles per person, including accommodation, three meals, and entertainment. Despite some drawbacks, the cruise offered a well-rounded experience, with enough time for city exploration and onboard entertainment. The journalist is already planning another short cruise on a different ship.
