Kazakhstan Showcases Women's Legacy in Serbia
Kazakhstan is showcasing its women's legacy in Serbia, highlighting the nation's respect for women. The exhibition, supported by both countries' culture ministries, was inaugurated by Serbia's First Lady, Tamara Vučić.
The exhibition, a continuation of last year's cultural partnership between Almaty and Belgrade museums, runs until Nov. 15. It spans 7,500 years, tracing Serbian women's role from prehistoric times to the present, featuring over 70 unique artifacts.
Tamara Vučić praised Kazakhstan's hospitality and drew parallels between Serbia and Kazakhstan as crossroads of civilizations. The Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva, hailed the exhibition as a new milestone in cultural cooperation. Director of the Belgrade City Museum, Jelena Medaković, welcomed the opening as a moment of pride and cultural unity, emphasizing women's impact on society throughout history.
The exhibition, 'Kazakh Women: A Journey Through Time', reflects Kazakhstan's commitment to cultural exchange and women's empowerment. It strengthens ties between Kazakhstan and Serbia, celebrating their shared history and women's roles.
