Khabarovsk Krai pumps 65M rubles into tourism with entrepreneur subsidies by 2026
Khabarovsk Krai will invest over 65 million rubles in tourism development by 2026. The funding aims to improve infrastructure, create new travel routes, and promote local events. Entrepreneurs and businesses can apply for subsidies to support these entrepreneurial projects.
The money comes from the Unified Subsidy program, part of Russia's Tourism and Hospitality national project. A competitive process will decide which entrepreneurs and businesses receive financial support. Successful applicants will get reimbursed for costs linked to upgrading or building facilities that make travel safer and more comfortable along cultural and natural routes.
Last year, the region allocated 35 million rubles under the same scheme. This time, a large share of the funds will go toward marketing events to attract more visitors. However, no public records show how many entrepreneurs or businesses received funding in 2025 for similar tourism projects.
The subsidies will help entrepreneurs enhance tourism infrastructure and develop new routes. Applications will be reviewed through a selection process, with funds distributed based on project quality. The initiative builds on previous investments to strengthen the region's appeal to travellers.
