KitKat races into 2026 with a Formula 1-themed chocolate car and dream prizes

KitKat is launching a Formula 1-themed campaign ahead of the 2026 racing season. The brand will bring special activations to the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne from March 6th to 8th. Fans can also enter a promotion for a chance to win a trip to the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

A limited-edition 'F1 Chocolate Car' will hit shelves as part of the campaign. The 29g bar combines milk chocolate, crispy cereal, and wafer pieces, designed to resemble a racing car. It will be available at major retailers across New Zealand starting January 2026.

The promotion offers a top prize of a four-night trip for two to the 2026 Italian Grand Prix. Winners will receive return flights, race tickets, and access to the exclusive Paddock Club hospitality area. Additionally, 1000 items of branded merchandise will be given away, with the total prize pool valued at around $96,020.

KitKat will also feature in the Netflix series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, expanding its visibility among racing fans. Winners of the promotion will be notified and announced by March 19, 2026. Responsibility for awarding prizes rests with Nestlé or its designated promotional agency, operating under German consumer protection laws.

The campaign ties KitKat’s branding to the excitement of Formula 1, offering fans unique experiences and collectibles. The limited-edition chocolate bar and high-value prizes aim to engage motorsport enthusiasts across Australia and New Zealand. Entries for the promotion will close before the winners are announced in mid-March 2026.
