It looks like a classroom, there are many tables and chairs and on the tables there are few laptops and bags, some people are standing in between the chairs and talking to each other, in the background there is a projector screen and beside that there is a wooden wall and an exit door.

Lead Expands Edtech Reach to India’s Low-Fee Schools in Bold Move

Lead, India’s fastest-growing school edtech company, is now expanding into the low-fee school segment. This move could reshape the country’s education system by making advanced learning tools more widely available. The company has already improved results for nearly 300 schools in Maharashtra alone.

Founded in 2016 after acquiring Pearson India’s local K-12 learning business, Lead has grown rapidly. In 2023, it further expanded by taking over Pearson India’s remaining K-12 operations, broadening its product range. The company’s Integrated School Edtech system now supports all school types, from budget to premium, with AI-driven solutions aligned to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

With its latest expansion, Lead is set to bring technology-backed education to millions more students. The company’s track record in improving academic performance suggests its model could have a measurable impact. By 2028, its reach may extend to over 60,000 schools nationwide.
