Lost 1960s mural by Enn Põldroos returns to Tallinn’s Pelgulinn High School

The mural’s origins trace back to the school’s construction in the early 1960s. Architect Udo Ivask invited Põldroos to design a piece for the foyer

The restored mural now greets students and visitors in the school’s foyer. Its return marks a connection between past and present, showcasing Põldroos’s unique artistic approach. The project also highlights the value of student-led conservation in preserving cultural heritage.
