Luxury travel bookings surge 23% as Turkey dominates high-end winter escapes

Demand for high-end travel has soared this winter, with bookings for organised tours between December and February rising by 23% compared to last year. The most expensive tour package sold in 2025 cost 35.3 million rubles, highlighting a growing appetite for luxury experiences.

Turkey dominated the list of the 15 priciest tours, securing seven spots. One standout example was a 10-day family stay in Bodrum’s Gökçe resort, booked for a group of three. Other top destinations included the Maldives, UAE, Thailand, Tanzania, Mauritius, Fiji, and New Zealand.

The priciest offerings ranged from 12.7 million to 35.3 million rubles. Among them was a private jet tour of China for a single traveller and a luxury Maldives retreat for a solo guest with an entourage. These packages often featured exclusive perks like CIP handling, Fast Track airport access, and private transfers. Major booking platforms, including Sletat.ru, Aviasales, OneTwoTrip, and Tutu, reported a sharp increase in flight and hotel reservations. The rankings covered both family-oriented trips and bespoke individual programmes, reflecting diverse preferences among affluent travellers.

The surge in luxury travel bookings points to a strong market for premium experiences. With Turkey leading as the top destination and private services in high demand, operators are catering to clients seeking both exclusivity and comfort. The trend suggests continued growth in high-end tourism for the coming year.
