Mughal Mahal hosts Mongolian Food Festival

Mongolia marked its Republic Day and 50 years of diplomatic ties with Kuwait through a vibrant cultural event. The celebration took place at Mughal Mahal restaurant in Hawally, where guests enjoyed traditional Mongolian cuisine. The occasion also highlighted the role of food in strengthening international friendships.

The Mongolian Food Festival brought together over 100 guests to experience the country’s rich gastronomic heritage. Ambassador H.E. Sergelen Purev attended the event and later presented a commemorative memento to Mr. Ashok Kalra, representing Mughal Mahal’s management. In his remarks, Kalra thanked the ambassador for selecting the venue and stressed how food helps bridge cultures.

The festival was part of broader celebrations for Mongolia’s Republic Day and the golden jubilee of its diplomatic relations with Kuwait. Mr. Kalra spoke about the importance of culinary exchange in fostering closer ties between nations. The event also showcased Mongolia’s diverse traditions, reinforcing the long-standing friendship between the two countries.

Mughal Mahal, led by founder and director Mr. Ali Al-Mudhaf, played host to the evening’s festivities. The gathering underscored how cultural diplomacy continues to strengthen bilateral connections.

The event concluded with a renewed emphasis on the bond between Mongolia and Kuwait. Traditional dishes and cultural displays left a lasting impression on attendees. The festival’s success reflected the shared commitment to friendship and cooperation through cultural exchange.
