Münster Osnabrück Airport Adds Fuerteventura and Rhodes to Summer Routes

Münster Osnabrück Airport is expanding its flight options for summer travellers. New routes to Fuerteventura and Rhodes will launch soon, alongside existing services to popular destinations. Last year, nearly 400,000 passengers flew from the airport to Antalya alone. Leav Aviation will operate the new connections to Fuerteventura and Rhodes. The airline plans to use an Airbus A320 for both routes. Crete will also see daily flights during the busiest travel period.

Ryanair currently offers six routes from the airport: Alicante, Corfu, London Stansted, Málaga, Mallorca, and Zadar. Among these, Mallorca remains a top choice, with up to five daily departures. Antalya stays the most in-demand destination, with as many as seven flights per day.

Lufthansa also maintains a strong presence, running four daily services from Munich. Airport CEO Thomas Hamer noted that nearly 400,000 passengers travelled to Antalya in 2023. The airport's summer schedule now includes more Mediterranean and Canary Island options. With daily flights to key destinations, travellers have greater flexibility. The expansion follows strong passenger numbers on existing routes.
