Nox Set to Revolutionize European Travel With Luxury Night Trains
Berlin-based start-up Nox is set to revolutionise European travel with its new night train service, aiming to connect over 100 cities by 2035. The company, co-founded by industry veterans Thibault Constant and Janek Smalla, plans to offer a modern, sustainable, and premium way to travel across the continent.
Nox will launch its service in 2027, initially connecting major cities like Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona. By 2035, the company aims to expand its network to include Berlin, Dresden, and Prague. The trains will feature private rooms, offering passengers personal space and comfort.
Each room will boast a two-metre-long bed, a seating area with a table, and ample storage for luggage. Some rooms will provide panoramic views, allowing passengers to enjoy the scenery even at night. Nox will offer three room categories: Single and Double Loft rooms with ladder-access beds, and Double Vista rooms for those seeking scenic views.
Nox aims to make overnight rail travel affordable. Single cabins will start from EUR 79, while doubles will begin at EUR 149. Fares will fluctuate based on demand, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of travellers.
With its innovative approach to night train travel, Nox is poised to transform Europe's rail network. By 2035, the company's extensive network will connect over 100 cities, providing a sustainable and premium way to travel across the continent. Nox's affordable fares and modern amenities promise an attractive alternative to flights and road travel, setting a new standard for overnight rail journeys.
