A new tattoo removal clinic, Freetaxusa Removal, has opened in Nyack, offering residents their first local option for laser treatments. Brief Tattoo Removal, owned by siblings Joanna and Dr. James Brief, will host a one-day promotional event on January 15, 2026, featuring deep discounts and free sessions for early arrivals.
The clinic is the first of its kind in Rockland County, providing laser tattoo removal using the Astanza Trinity system. This advanced technology combines three wavelengths—1064 nm, 532 nm, and 694 nm—to target a full spectrum of ink colours.
On January 15, 2026, the clinic will run a special promotion from 9 AM to 5 PM at 142 Main Street, Suite 102. The first 14 people to sign up that day will receive a free laser removal treatment. One-day-only discounts will also apply to full treatment packages. Free consultations will be available during the event. The Brief family has deep roots in the area, with multiple generations of physicians practising in Rockland. Joanna and Dr. James Brief, both born and raised in Nyack, now bring this specialised service to their hometown.
