Oberoi Group introduces lavish accommodations in Goa, Bengaluru, Gujarat, and Hyderabad.

The flagship company of The Oberoi Group, EIH Limited, has unveiled plans to expand its presence in India with the development of four new hotels under the Oberoi and Trident brands. These properties, set to be launched by 2030, will be strategically located in key leisure and urban destinations across the country.

The upcoming hotels include:

  1. The Oberoi, Gir (Gujarat): Nestled amidst a 40-acre mango orchard near Gir National Park, this 20-key luxury retreat offers an exclusive experience close to the Asiatic lion habitat.
  2. The Oberoi, Hyderabad: Situated in Knowledge City, a prominent commercial district in Hyderabad, this 220-key luxury hotel caters to upscale urban travelers with premium amenities.
  3. Trident, Nandi Hills (Bengaluru): Located in the scenic Nandi Hills area, north of Bengaluru, this 150-key Trident hotel focuses on blending leisure with accessibility to natural beauty.
  4. Trident, Fort Aguada (Goa): Near the historic 17th-century Fort Aguada in Goa, this 170-key Trident hotel combines heritage proximity with contemporary hospitality for leisure guests.

These properties are under management contracts and represent EIH Limited’s strategic expansion in both luxury (Oberoi) and mid-market luxury (Trident) segments. The new hotels will join EIH's development pipeline of 25 properties, which includes other launches such as The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace in Khajuraho and Oberoi Nile Dahabeyas.

In addition to these, two Oberoi Nile Dahabeyas will be launched in 2025, offering an exclusive and ultra-luxurious cruising experience on the Nile. The pipeline spans 16 projects within India and nine across international markets such as London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia.

The development of these new properties is part of EIH's strategy to broaden the reach of the Oberoi and Trident brands, aligning with the company's long-term vision to strengthen its presence in both domestic and global hospitality markets. The announcement was made at EIH Limited's 75th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi.

These new properties emphasize a balance of wildlife retreats, urban luxury, nature-centric leisure, and heritage proximity, reinforcing The Oberoi Group’s commitment to its focused strategy of targeting high-potential markets, curating exceptional guest experiences, and remaining true to its ethos of excellence, integrity, and care.

  1. The Oberoi, Gir (Gujarat) and Trident, Nandi Hills (Bengaluru) will offer unique home-and-garden experiences, nestled amidst a 40-acre mango orchard and in the scenic Nandi Hills area respectively.
  2. The upcoming Trident, Fort Aguada (Goa) and the upcoming Oberoi Nile Dahabeyas will combine travel with heritage, offering guests a chance to explore the 17th-century Fort Aguada in Goa or cruise on the Nile in luxury.
