Ouigo slashes Spain train fares to €9 for late 2026 travel
Ouigo has launched a major discount scheme for high-speed train travel in Spain. From August to December 2026, passengers can buy tickets for as little as €9 per journey. The offer covers trips to 15 destinations across the country.
Another deal, Verano Joven, will provide summer discounts in 2026 for travellers aged 18 to 30.
The €9 ticket promotion runs for all bookings made between August 3 and December 12, 2026. Sales open on March 5 via the Ouigo app and website. Passengers can cut costs further by booking early and checking weekday fares.
Children also benefit from fixed pricing. Those aged 4 to 13 pay €7 per trip, while under-3s travel free. The Verano Joven scheme, meanwhile, focuses on young adults, offering reduced fares during summer 2026.
Travellers are advised to compare operators and schedules for the best deals. Flexibility with dates and advance planning can help secure lower prices.
The new promotions aim to make high-speed rail travel more affordable. Ouigo's €9 tickets and Verano Joven discounts target different age groups. Booking early and comparing options will help passengers save money on journeys across Spain.
