Over a hundred photographers take part in photography competition titled "Kolyma: Open for You"
The IX Regional Tourism Photography Contest "Discover Kolyma" is set to unveil the multifaceted region's unique nature, people, and culture, as over 200 photographs from 110 talented photographers have been submitted for this year's competition.
The contest, which has been running for nine years, aims to promote tourism and active recreation in the region. The names of the participating photographers remain undisclosed at this time.
The conclusion of the contest traditionally involves a final exhibition of photographs, and this year is no exception. The exhibition will commence on August 29, starting at 19:00, with the announcement of the winners. The event will take place at the new cultural and public center "Premiere", where the announcement event will also be held.
The contest categories include "Motion", "Tourist Adventures", "Geological Daily Life", "Gastronomic Still Life", "Urban Landscape", and "Photo Story", providing a diverse range of subject matter for the photographers to capture.
