Polydrops Unveils Sustainable P21 Caravan for EV Age
Polydrops, a Southern California-based manufacturer, has unveiled its latest creation, the P21. This full-size caravan is designed with sustainability and modern aesthetics in mind, blending Korean energy efficiency philosophies with RV design. The P21 is priced starting at $38,900.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Kyunghyun and Jieun Lew, former SCI-Arc students from South Korea, Polydrops aims to create portable spaces based on their architectural background. Their first products, the Polydrops P19 and the tiny Polydrops P17A1 All Electric, showcased their commitment to energy efficiency and innovative design.
The P21, their latest offering, is no exception. It can run its aircon for a remarkable 19 hours using just its 5kWh battery, with sunlight boosting the charge during travel. This is thanks to its aerodynamic polygonal exterior that improves insulation efficiency and allows for solar panel integration. Inside, the P21 offers a multipurpose lounge area and a separate bed area for children, providing ample space for an entire family. It also features an optional Cooking Station and a Sanitation Unit, along with high insulation and large windows for light and ventilation.
The Polydrops P21 is a testament to the company's commitment to sustainability and innovative design in the RV industry. With its energy-efficient features and modern aesthetics, it offers a sustainable and comfortable option for families seeking to explore the great outdoors in the EV age.
