Rainy JugendkulTour in Buch am Erlbach Draws 90 Youths for Creative Fun
Despite the rain, around 90 young people gathered in Buch am Erlbach on May 31, 2025, for the successful JugendkulTour event. The day was filled with creative workshops, games, and the chance to express opinions, all organized by Mimi Sandmeyer and Andy Stenzl with local support.
The event kicked off with various activities. Youngsters could cool off in a wading pool or try their hand at graffiti art and DJ workshops. The 'Prackeln' station offered a unique experience, while the MINT workshop encouraged exploration of science and technology. The highlight was the 'Bavarian three-competition', organized by a local club, where participants tested their skills in a friendly contest.
The voluntary fire brigade Thann/Vatersdorf added excitement with a firefighting action and olympiad, awarding eight prizes to the winners. The Demokratiemobil provided a platform for young people to share their views on civic participation. The mayor of Buch am Erlbach, Mrs. Winklmaier-Wenzl, presented the prizes at the event's conclusion, capping off a day filled with creativity, fun, and learning.
