Repair with Heart: Great Success at Repanet Action Day
Several German auto businesses recently joined forces to support local child welfare initiatives. Through repair campaigns and charity events, they raised thousands of euros for the German Child Protection Association (DKSB). The efforts took place across multiple locations in September, with each company contributing to different regional branches of the organisation.
Repanet led the way with its annual 'Dent Repair for a Good Cause' campaign. Now in its fifth year, the initiative has become a regular feature in the company’s schedule. This time, it generated €9,550 for the DKSB, proving how small repairs can make a big difference.
Werner Helbig Eisleben GmbH hosted an action day on September 6. Technicians completed 14 repairs, and the company donated €3,000 to the local DKSB branch. The funds will support digital education programmes for children in the area. A week later, Automobilservice Langenlonsheim broke its own fundraising record. On September 13, the team raised €4,500 for the Knallfrosch Club, part of the Bad Kreuznach DKSB. The total surpassed their previous highest amount. Michels Auto Body & Vehicle Construction in Cochem also took part. Their event on September 20 brought in €2,050 for the DKSB’s Cochem-Zell branch. The money will help fund local child protection services and activities.
The combined efforts of these businesses resulted in over €19,000 for the DKSB. Each donation will go directly to regional projects, from digital learning to youth clubs. The campaigns highlight how local companies can contribute to community welfare through practical initiatives.
