Returned from Savannah with Some Attractive Second-Hand Jewelry

Enjoyed on Thursday, February 1: A sunny day with temperatures between 65-78°F. Returning from Savannah, I spent a delightful time with my friends. We held a picnic at Forsyth Park, and browsed through retro stores together.

Returned from Savannah with Some Attractive Second-Hand Jewelry

In the heart of Savannah, Georgia, a charming find graced the author's wrist during a recent trip. The city, known for its historic charm and vibrant culture, also offered a unique piece of jewellery that would become a cherished addition to the author's collection.

On Thursday, February 1, the sun shone brightly over Savannah, with temperatures ranging from a comfortable 65°F to a warm 78°F. The author, dressed in flip flops, shorts, and an anklet with a teeny tiny puffy heart charm, took in the sights and sounds of the city.

The anklet, a gift from the author's mom for Christmas, was a perfect accessory for the warm day. It was a sterling silver anklet, a style that, while less common, can be found online. Similar options include sterling silver puffy heart charms to attach to anklets, such as James Avery's Gathered Hearts Charm, or sterling silver puffed heart bracelets with similar charm motifs, like Loveweld's Sterling Silver Puffy Heart Bracelet.

For those seeking a sterling silver anklet specifically with a puffy heart charm, attaching a puffed heart charm like the James Avery version to a delicate sterling silver anklet chain is a practical option. Alternatively, custom or handcrafted pieces similar to those seen on social media might offer exactly what you want.

The trip to Savannah was filled with more than just the search for the perfect anklet. The author spent time picnicking at Forsyth Park, rummaging through vintage shops, and sticking their feet in the Atlantic. The journey also led to the discovery of two rings at The Vintage Vortex, a shop in Savannah. One was a pave band, while the other was a dainty little ring with two stones on it. Both rings were purchased for under $25.

Upon returning home, the author realised they had not packed the right clothes for the trip despite checking the weather. Nevertheless, the memories and finds from the trip more than made up for any fashion faux pas.

The author is now planning to write a packing post, but it will not be about what to pack. Instead, it will focus on what not to pack or what they would pack differently if given the chance.

In the meantime, the sterling silver anklet with the puffy heart charm continues to be a daily reminder of the charm and surprises that can be found in unexpected places. And, as for the rings found at The Vintage Vortex, they have found a permanent home on the author's fingers.

As for other finds, the author was particularly enamoured with the James Avery Foxtail Chain Necklace, which they wore throughout the trip at 18 inches. They also found a pair of Roxy Flip Flops on sale that have become a staple in their summer wardrobe.

  1. Although often overlooked, sterling silver anklets can be a unique addition to one's unfancy lifestyle, as evidenced by the author's prized find in Savannah.
  2. During their travel, the author discovered an un-fancy yet cherished home-and-garden accessory - the James Avery Foxtail Chain Necklace, now a staple in their wardrobe.
