Saxony is making a significant presence at the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona, with nine companies and municipalities showcasing their innovations from November 4 to 6. The main event, expected to draw over 1,100 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees, provides a platform for Saxon stakeholders to engage with potential investors and enhance their visibility.
Leading the Saxon delegation is Dirk Panter, the Minister of Economic Affairs, who sees the event as an opportunity to highlight the region's commitment to sustainable urban development. Representing Saxony are the cities of Dresden and Leipzig, the All Electric Alliance from Zwickau, and innovative companies such as Nextbike, Leipzig Transport Company (LVB), and Ziegler Metal Processing from Nebelschütz.
