SMAC and Trip.com team up to boost travel rewards for members

SMAC has teamed up with Trip.com to give its members more ways to earn rewards on travel bookings. The new partnership lets users collect SMAC Points when reserving hotels and flights worldwide. Members can now access a wider range of destinations through the platform.

Starting immediately, SMAC members can earn 1 SMAC Point for every P250 spent on Trip.com bookings. Points will appear in their accounts within 60 working days after completing a trip. To qualify, users must log in via smac.ph and access Trip.com through the SMAC homepage.

Trip.com operates in 39 countries and supports 35 currencies, making it easy for travellers to book in their preferred language. The platform offers over 1.5 million hotels and flights from more than 640 airlines, including Lufthansa Group and Eurowings. This collaboration adds to SMAC's existing travel partnerships, such as Philippine Airlines' Mabuhay Miles and AirAsia Rewards. Patrick Cua, SMAC's Chief Operating Officer, highlighted that the deal boosts the programme's value for members.

The new partnership expands SMAC's travel rewards system, giving users more options for earning points. Members can now book through Trip.com and enjoy benefits on both local and international trips. The integration strengthens SMAC's growing network of travel and lifestyle collaborations.
